Regeneration Schemes
Work is continually being done to improve the quality of life in Chorley and help to make it a great place, to work, to invest and to visit.
The popular Astley Park is currently undergoing regeneration, which is due to be completed in 2009, A new terraced garden, play area and pets' corner are just some of the highlights.
Work is also being done to revitalise the town centre. The famous Chorley Markets are being modernised with a new roof over the central aisle to improve the shopping experience. The town centre is also the focus of regeneration with plans in the pipeline to improve the look and feel of the shopping areas.
